Marian Lorraine (Danielson) Gartner

   Marian Gartner, 89, of Chatfield, passed away Monday, July 6, 2020, at Chosen Valley Care Center in Chatfield.

   Marian Lorraine Danielson was born October 31, 1930, in Preston, MN, to Edwin and Oney (Anderson) Danielson.  Marian graduated from Preston High School in 1949.  On February 17, 1952, she married Clair Gartner, in Cocoa, FL, and they were married for 66 years.

   Marian and Clair enjoyed getting out on drives, and trips down to Branson, MO.  She loved her family dearly as well as cooking and cleaning, and having a good time with all of her friends.  Marian was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW of Chatfield and Chatfield United Methodist Church.

   She is survived by her 2 sons; Norman (Sharon) of Rochester, and Neal (Carman) of Chatfield; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded of death by her parents; husband, Clair; brother, Odin Danielson; sister, Helen Eide; and a granddaughter, Kristin Gartner.

   A visitation will be Friday July 10, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Riley Funeral Home in Chatfield.  We do ask if you attend to please wear a mask.     A private family funeral and burial will be later that day.
