James "Jim" Stanley Narveson

    James Stanley Narveson, 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday,  August 3, 2022 at Chosen Valley Care Center in Chatfield.

   Jim (Jimmy) was born on January 18, 1944 in Winona, to Stan and Marie (Bradt) Narveson.  Jim graduated from Chatfield High School in 1962, and spent his whole life in Chatfield.  He golfed, played pool, softball, and bowled in his early years.  He was a big supporter of Chatfield sports and followed all the teams.  Jim was employed at Chatfield Lumber and drove bus for Bernard Bus for 26 years before retiring in 2011. 

   Jim is survived by his sister, Sandi Millard of Plainview; sister-in-law, Teri Narveson of Las Vegas, NV  and nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by parents, Stan and Marie and brother, Gary.

   Visitation for Jim will be Wednesday, August 10, 2022, 3 PM - 4PM at Riley Funeral Home, Chatfield MN.  A graveside service will follow the visitation at Chatfield Cemetery, with Pastor Nissa Peterson.
