Frances "Paula" Pauline (Phillips) Norby

   Frances “Paula” Norby, 84, of Lanesboro, passed away on May 26, 2021 at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester.

   Frances Pauline Phillips was born May 6, 1937 in Scottsville, KY to Thomas and Bea Phillips.  On April 7, 1960 she married Rodney D. Norby, in Scottsville, KY. They went on to have 7 children, and raised them in Lanesboro MN.

   Paula enjoyed country music, especially Charlie Pride, walking her dog Lucky, watching the MN Vikings and Twins, watching all the different birds out her back window, she loved to spoil her children and grandbabies at Christmas, but most of all see loved being around her children.

   Paula is survived by her loving children: 3 sons, Tom, Jeff (Julie), Scott; 4 daughter, Janet (Gary) Nimn, Karen (John) Lawstuen, Pat (Mark) Hanson, Lesa (Eliot) Tienter; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and special friend Gary Littrell.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson, and 7 siblings.

   Funeral service for Paula will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Lanesboro with Pastor Kerry Eversole officiating.  Visitation will be 1 hour before the service at the church.  Burial will be at the Lanesboro Cemetery following the service.
