Darlene Phyllis (Anderson) Westling

Darlene Westling, 82, of Bella Vista, AR, passed away with family at her side on November 8, 2019. She was born July 10, 1937 in Fort Dodge, IA, to Earl and Verna (Snell) Anderson. Darlene married the love of her life, Clifford Westling on January 22, 1954. They celebrated 65 years of marriage.

Darlene was always on the go. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was always busy cooking, sewing, quilting, or crafting and would not pass up a day of fishing. 

She and Cliff spent the last 25 years traveling the country in their RV spreading God’s word, volunteering with the Mobile Missionary Assistance Program (MAAP), doing a variety of projects at churches and bible camps throughout the US.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son John, sister Charlene Behrens, and brother Roger Anderson. 

Left to cherish her memories are her children Pam (Steve) Johnson of Tracy, MN, Lori (George) Batzel of Chatfield, MN, Twila (Richard) Lehr of Lincoln, NE; daughter-in-law Donna Westling of Bentonvillle, AR; brothers Gus Anderson and Gayle Anderson of Arizona; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at North Lawn Cemetery in Fort Dodge, IA, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
