Arlyn Richard Scrabeck

   Arlyn Richard Scrabeck 76, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 after a short illness. 

   Arlyn was born on March 10, 1943 in Preston, MN to Merlin and Margaret (Roelofs) Scrabeck. He was the 5^th of their 7 children. He grew up on the family farm in rural Harmony, and graduated from Harmony High School in 1961. Post high school education included graduation from Winona State University in June 1972.

   Arlyn married Linda Boardman in Winona on January 2, 1970. He farmed in rural Chatfield for the last 30 years.

   Arlyn is survived by his wife, Linda, and their 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Two daughters, Melissa (Grant) Kajihara and their children Joy and Carmen of Manchester, MD, and Ericka Scrabeck of Minneapolis, MN, and son Christopher (Jennifer) Scrabeck and their children Gavin, Annaka, and Alana of Rochester.

   Celebration of Life for Arlyn will be Monday, April 8, 2019 from 1p.m. to 3 p.m. at Riley Funeral Home in Chatfield.
