T he Riley Family has a long history in the funeral home business. Jim and Deanna Riley purchased the funeral home in Chatfield, Minnesota in1972 and raised their children, Rue and Ryn, there. In 1981, they purchased the funeral home in Lanesboro, Minnesota. In 1992, a new funeral home was built at the location in Lanesboro and then in 1994 a new funeral home was built in Chatfield. Today, Jim and Rue Riley are the Funeral Directors at both Riley Funeral Home in Chatfield and Johnson-Riley Funeral Home in Lanesboro.
